Board Member: Laurel Smerch

Laurel grew up in Chicago and has lived in several places in Colorado before adopting the Mancos Valley as her home. She earned her Master's in environmental management from Western Colorado University in 2017 and has found herself in the world of education. When she isn't working or serving on the board, she enjoys biking and hiking with her dogs on the many trails surrounding Mancos in addition to reading and making art.
