Flume Installation and Headgate Replacement Project
The Mancos Conservation District (MCD) received a WaterSMART Grant from the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation to improve water reliability, conservation, and efficiency in the Mancos River Watershed. As part of this effort, the Flume Installation and Headgate Replacement Project will install seven new flumes in six irrigation ditches near Mancos, Colorado, to improve diversion measurement accuracy, support watershed management, and meet Colorado Division 7 measurement requirements. Two sites will also receive new headgates and concrete headwall improvements. SGM is providing design, technical support, contractor selection assistance, and construction oversight for the project.
